  15. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo! I read it last summer/fall and I knew that I had to read the last two in the trilogy immediately after. The trilogy is that good. And the US remake of the first film is looking excellent. <3

Here's mine for this week: here.

  23. Footloose is a book!? I did not know that lol. My friend read Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and from the way she described it it doesn't sound like my kinda book but i do want to try it just because it's so popular. If not I'll watch the movie ;)

  32. The Dead of Winter sounds like it could be a really great read, looking forward to your review. I think I am one of the few people who havent read Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

  33. Honestly, I have had THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO for almost two years and each time I have tried to start it but never make it pass twenty or so pages before putting it down. It's not that it isn't good, just I never had time to actually go through with it, so I'll probably be looking for your review soon.

The Chris Priestly looks good though. I don't read too much horror, but once in a while I read that odd one, so I might check it out.

    Great IMM

    Have fun reading.

  38. I really liked "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" original movie, but I haven't actually read the books. I'm sure they are better, though, so I'm going to have to check them out! Great books this week :0)

  39. Hey, thanks for visiting!

I warn you, the first 50-100 pages or so of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo are really hard to get through - it's mostly explaining everything you could ever want or need to know about Sweden's economy and business practices. I have absolutely no idea why it starts that way, but if you make it past that section, it is the scary, exciting thriller it promises to be.

  40. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was good, but needed a lot of editing, so it could be a slog at times. The second and third books in the series were much better!

The Dead of Winter looks like it could be a great Halloween read. I'll have to check it out.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  46. Great IMM! Aww, I'm sorry about your cover of Footloose being bent! I hate when that happens...
Anyway, I think I am the only person who does not like the movie. The old one, not the new one--I haven't seen the new one yet. It was an okay movie, just not the best. But I love me some Kevin Bacon, though! :)
And to answer the question you posted on my IMM: No, I haven't. The site just went under construction, so I can't get on it until they open it back up. But it's okay--I think I'll just have a giveaway of that ARC and just buy a new copy elsewhere. Thanks so much, and I hope you enjoy all your awesome books! Also, I'm having a giveaway of Unveiled by Trisha Wolfe on my blog if you would like to enter? http://909reviews.blogspot.com/2011/10/author-interview-trisha-wolfe-giveaway.html :)
