The purpose of this feature is to show you guys which YA debuts I'm most looking forward to, and which ones I've enjoyed. Hopefully it'll also help build some buzz around some of these debuts. There will be one post at the beginning of each month showing all the debuts that are being released in that month. I'll also be linking to my reviews of debuts from the previous month so you can see which ones were a hit!
A Korean-American girl discovers a Korean demi-god. Consider me intrigued.
Alex has visions of the past, which I guess are her fifty six past lives coming through.
Teenagers somehow get transported to an island, and they have exactly one year to get off it or bad things will happen.
A girl loses her voice because she pledged it to a literal dream guy. Seriously, she only sees him in her dreams.
This is about the Spanish Flu!
I'm honestly not sure what this one's about. Someone called Harlow, something about leadership...
Heart (yes, that's her name) is invited to prom by two guys. However will she choose?
An American immigrant is struggling with life at university.
A girl who has leukaemia goes into remission, but not before she is a complete cow to everyone since she thought she was going to die.
Regan's father invented Elusion, something that virtually transports you to exotic destinations. Regan discovers lots of secrets and lies and stuff.
The main character lives in a trailer park and there's a serial killer and this has so much potential!
Which debuts are you looking forward to this month? Half Bad, right? A lot of the debuts that are out this month sound so good, especially Side Effects May Vary (although I'm steering clear of this one until I've heard other people's verdicts, because I don't like reading about cancer), and A Death-Struck Year.
