Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday

Q. It's circle time. Time for us to open up and share. Can you tell us FIVE quirky habits or things about you? We all have them...

1. I am obsessed with The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and Doctor Who. The former two in particular, but you already knew that, right?
2. My sleeping schedule is non-existent. I spend a vast majority of the night on Tumblr, Blogger and V-D.net and then I complain when I have to get up at 7am.
3. To choose which book I read next, I sit and stare at my bookshelf for a good half hour.
4. My favourite smells are petrol (gas), mint and vanilla biscuit. If you don't know what vanilla biscuit is, I suggest you go and find out.
5. I let my bedroom become really messy, and then all of a sudden I get an urge to clean it. It works well for me.

Book Blogger Hop
Q. If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?

How am I supposed to answer this one? Okay, erm... I'll do a top five!
1. Ixia/Sitia from The Study Series.
Just so I could meet Valek and fall in love with him.
2. Harry Potter Universe.
3. Inside Out Universe.
Strange choice, yes. But it's only one day. And I'd make sure I met Jacy *swoon*
4. Divergent's world.
I think it could be fun... as long as I wasn't killed or anything o.O
5. Psy-Changelings World by Nalini Singh
I want to be a shapeshifter. That is all.

Leave your links below! I'll try to visit all of you, but I have to go to the dentist first, so it'll take longer today. >.< Have a great weekend!

  1. Haha, I sometimes do the same when I need to pick my next book.

    I am a new follower :)

Feel free to stop by my blog - http://thegreatthegoodandthebad.blogspot.com/

  2. Oh wow! Can I just say that 2. and 3. of the follow friday are exactly me! I love just staring at my bookshelf for hours, and I also have a bad habit of staying up on tumblr too long, haha!

    Happy Reading! Here's mine:

  3. I don't have a sleep schedule either and do the same thing when I'm choosing a book to read :-)

    New follower :-)

  4. Top five is a good approach! Wish I had taken that route, but instead I chose one, just for today. Anyway, fantasy is always the best destination for those out-of-body experiences we seek in fiction, so I'm definitely with you on your choices!

  5. Nice to see I wasn't the only one who couldn't settle on just one!! lolz

And OMG i really need to read this Psy-Cangeling series!! I so want to be a shifter too;)

Come see ours & check out what we've been up to this week at Paranormal Wastelands!

  6. Just hopping by.

    here's mine:

  7. Coming through to return the love, thanks for stopping by. I also let my room get real cluttered and messy then have the biggest urge to clean it all up! Unfortunately I can't do that anymore at the moment cause we're trying to sell our house! Anyways, I am now following, have a great weekend!

  8. Sucks to have a bad library. Mind even has video games!!! I love it! Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    XOXO Angela's Anxious Life

  9. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I'm tempted to tidy shelves in shops too, but i always get funny looks, have to resist the temptation.

I've chosen books by staring at my shelves before, I wait until one jumps out at me.

    Have a great weekend. :D

  10. Tonight's the Supernatural finale!! I like the smell of gas too, my mom thinks I'm weird lol
After reading Divergent I'd totally spend the day with Four, he was great ^_^

  11. I love Doctor Who too and would love to visit Nalini Singh's psy/changeling world!

  12. hahahahaaa! i feel ya on your #3.... i often times do the same thing :)

  13. Hi! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I'm now following you, and love a follow back! I LOVE The Vampire Diaries and I'm steel reeling from the finale (check my blog for more discussion!).

  14. Yay for Doctor Who, I am also a huge fan of the show. I can totally relate to staring at bookshelves too, although sometimes I just do it for fun, instead of to pick out a book. :D

  15. Haha, I get the exact same urge with my bedroom too. It seems to happen to me all the time, and I just have to clean it once it gets extremely messy. It'd be awesome to live in the world of Divergent, but I agree, I wouldn't want to be killed!

  16. Hopping through. Vanilla biscuit sounds wonderful. I love vanilla smells.

  17. Thanking for hopping by my blog. I always take for ever to choose my next book as well. Happy Reading and hope you have a good weekend.

  18. Excellent choice of places! I'd choose Harry Potter and Divergent's world too!! Thanks for stopping by our blog. New follower. :)

    Teen Readers' Diary

  19. Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries obsession shows you are clearly awesome. However petrol being your favourite smell? Oh god, made me gag LOL.

Obviously I'd LOVE to visit the Harry Potter world too. Divergent would also be cool! Although as crazy and intense and scarily awesome as Dauntless sounds, I think I would avoid that particular faction. I like my body free of bruising!

  20. Hey, Amber. Thanks for the visit. I have got to sit myself down to read Poison Study. It's sitting on my shelf waiting for me, but I keep checking out too many library books. :P Have a great weekend.

  21. Haha :) Cute quirks!
I would like to be a shifter too - how did I forget to count that..

I chose Discworld, thanks for visiting me!

    Dee, hopping from e-Volving Books

  22. Thanks for visiting my blog! Woot to vampire diaries and supernatural! Season Finale on tonight! hahaa gotaa love dean and sam :)

  23. You mean petrol? The gas for cars? because I also find their smell addictive LOL:)

  24. Oh the messy thing. Really, I do the same thing, except it's my whole house. The only thing not messy is my bookshelf. LOL

I stay up all night too & totally complain when I have to get up at seven the next morning! I blame the internet.

I've been a follower for a few days but just in case you wanna see my little space...

  25. My sleep schedule is pretty non-existent as well... Is it bad that I would rather blog than sleep?? LOL!

  26. Yes, Avatar 9 times. I don't know how I managed to afford that. I was making less then than I am now. Didn't buy any books then I guess.

I also think the Divergent world would be interesting to visit. Thanks for stopping by. :)

  27. Thank's for stopping by my blog!
I've only read the Study Series and Harry Potter...all the other worlds sound interesting...
