I've decided to start doing a weekly wrap up post to round up the posts and reviews I post each week. Hopefully this will give the people that have missed posts an easy way to catch up!
Reviews:
I also introduced one of the new features that will be happening on my blog during 2013, the 2013 Debut Showcase.
The purpose of this feature is to show you guys which YA debuts I'm most looking forward to, and which ones I've enjoyed. Hopefully it'll also help build some buzz around some of these debuts. There will be one post at the beginning of each month showing the top three upcoming debuts I'm most looking forward to and excited for, and it will also wrap up the previous month by showing which debuts I read and enjoyed.
You can check out some of this week's new releases here, and you can see which books I resolve to read in 2013 here.
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

I am so excited to read all of these! I have already finished Out of Easy, and I'm hoping to get to Feedback ASAP since I adored the first book. EEP! If you are participating in Stacking the Shelves then feel free to leave the link to your own post below!
Overall, this week was an awesome start to the year. I met some new people, made a 'comeback' on Youtube, and have everything nicely organised (so far). The Year of Organisation has begun!
You adored Variant?! Does that mean I should get to it as soon as I can? Those Charles Gilman books look super creepy! And I too have The Rules and looking forward to reading it; I hope it's good.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Ambs!
Yesssss, it means you need to read it right now! EEP, hope you like The Rules XD
DeletePoison looks like such a good read! I hope you enjoy all you got :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my STS!
Thanks, Jessica! I'm really looking forward to all of them!
DeleteI have The Rules and Poison on my shelf. Can't wait to start reading them! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait either! I need to get to them soon or I might cry from excitement!
DeleteAhhh I am so jealous of Poison and The Rules, I need to request that but didn't think I'd be accepted. Speechless left me Speechless (scuse the pun) and I got Dead Romantic through yesterday but I'd alread made the post by then so it'll be on next weeks (aren't Chicken House the best!?!) As always Amber I am so jealous!
ReplyDeleteMy Haul
I am NEVER accepted by Hyperion, so I basically fell out of my chair when I got the emails. EEEE, I'm so glad you loved Speechless! You've just made me ten times more excited for it XD
DeleteAw, I want The Rules and Poison! I also got Speechless this week from NetGalley. So jealous of your haul! Anyway, happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteStacking the Shelves @ Divergent Gryffindor
I'm so excited to read them. You'll have to let me know what you think of Speechless when you get to it!
DeleteThe Rules AND Poison?! In the same FREAKING week?!
ReplyDeleteWhy do you DO this to me? Disney Hyperion is such a tease. Sitting around on Netgalley with their awesome books with awesome reviews and they're only available to EVERYONE ELSE but us lesser folk.
I WANTS TO READ THEM.
No no no, don't call yourself lesser! This is the first time I have EVER been approved by Hyperion, they seem to be very picky with how they go about approving requests.
DeleteBut the books sound AWESOME, right?
I got the Rules last week :) I can't wait to read it! And I really want to read Speechless!

My Haul!
I hope you like The Rules! I want to read it NOW, but don't have time yet. Woo!
DeletePoison is AWESOME!!! I had so much fun reading that book!! I'll be starting Rules sometime next week!! Happy reading!

You have just made me ten times for excited for Poison! I NEED TO READ IT NOW!
DeleteI got Variant, but I haven't read it yet. This cover for Speechless is gorgeous. I can't wait to read Poison. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
You should consider picking it up soon because it is AMAZING. Thanks, Liza!
DeleteThe Rules looks really good! I have Speechless to read. I kind of like the US cover better though. I'm really sure why.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Showcase Sunday.
I'm **Not** really sure why.
DeleteI'm with you, I prefer the US cover as well. I don't really like seeing faces on book covers, so that's why - for me - the US cover is better :)
DeleteLoved Speechless! The moral of the story is very relevant. Professor Gargoyle looks hilarious!
