Monthly Wrap Up and TBR: December 2013 - January 2014

December was a very slow and frustrating reading month for me. I have been in a giant reading slump for the past three weeks, and it was showing no signs of ending until I took part in a 24 hour readathon, which kicked me up the backside and got me reading. Here are the books that I read:
Part 1 was a bit... not boring, exactly, but uneventful. But all hell broke loose in the second part, and I ended up adoring everything about it.

I have a bunch of books that need to be read in January, but I've decided that I'm going to take it easy with the review copies this year. I don't want to pressure myself into another reading slump since I only just got out of one. So I'll list a bunch of books here that I might read, or I might not, depending on my mood. I like options, and I like lists, to to-be-read lists are my favourite thing.
How did the last month of 2013 go for you? Did it live up to your reading expectations? Let me know what your favourite read was in the comments! And have you read any of the ones I have mentioned? I would love to know what you thought of them!

  1. Crown of midnight *freaks out* Seriously, you're going to cry and fangirl. You have to let me know what you think about it once you're reading it :p Her dark curiosity... wouldn't recommend reading that one soon, haha. More than this is so messed up! Uninvited & Alienated look good and you remind me that I need to continue in Game of Thrones 2 (completely forgot the title)

Cress <3 I'm reading Cruel beauty now. Happy reading!

  3. I'm reading Avalon right now and really enjoying it. And I really want to read Cress, Into the Still Blue, and Cruel Beauty. Crown of Midnight is fantastic, that one I definitely recommend. And I've heard great things about Alienated (but I love alien books). And Uninvited is on my TBR list as well. I still need to read Unwind, but I've heard such great things about that series. Have fun reading! ~Pam
