It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

The It's Monday... meme is hosted by the wonderful Sheila at Book Journey and takes place every Monday. The aim is to share books that you read in the past week, and what you're planning to read this week.

Last week I read:
My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent (Review coming soon!)
All in all, this was a really great YA debut from the lovely Rachel Vincent! I was definitely kept intrigued, and it was so original!

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles (Review coming soon!)
Ah, a new favourite! I fell hard for this book. Very hard. And now I don't know what to do. Do I read the next two books in the series, or will it ruin the magic of Alex and Brittany's relationship? I have yet to decide. Thoughts are welcome!

I'm currently reading:
XVI by Julia Karr
I am determined to finish this!

This week I plan to read:
I honestly have no idea yet. The Iron King, perhaps?

I'm taking a long break from Matched by Ally Condie. Something about it is just not drawing me in.

I didn't read as many books as I did last week, mainly because I'm rushing to finish my ICT work. Although my average is usually one book a week, so two and a bit isn't bad!

Sorry I didn't do an In My Mailbox at the weekend, I just didn't have time to record all of the books that I got! I'll do a huge haul at the end of this week though.

Please feel free to leave a link below to your It's Monday... post!

It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

The It's Monday... meme is hosted HERE and takes place every Monday. The aim is to share books that you read in the past week, and what you're planning to read this week.

Last week I read:

Delirium by Lauren Oliver (Review)
The Mind Readers by Lori Brighton (Review)
Across the Universe by Beth Revis (Review)
Choker by Elizabeth Woods

I am currently reading:

Matched by Allie Condie
XVI by Julia Karr - I plan to finish it this week.

This week I plan to read:

My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent
Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

I actually really impressed myself by reading four books last week! My usual pace is just one book a week. I'm not sure where I found the time to read four! But let's not complain. I'm definitely not setting my standards as high this week, but I shall definitely try my best.

What about you? What are your plans for the coming week? I'd love to know!

Monday 11/22 - What Are You Reading?

It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is hosted by the wonderful Sheila - make sure you check out Sheila's blog to see what she herself is reading, and to find links to other blogs! Onto the books!

Last week, I read and reviewed:
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver (Goodreads|Amazon US)

Awaiting Review:
Nightshade by Andrea Cremer (Goodreads|Amazon US)

I'm currently reading:
Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (Goodreads|Amazon US)
Savannah Grey by Cliff McNish (Goodreads|Amazon US)

That's all I'm planning for this week, but hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a review of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I know I've done one already, by it wasn't the best review so I'm rewriting and rephrasing :) Then I can review Catching Fire, and then finally Mockingjay, which has been waiting a while to get reviewed.

I hope you all have a good week!

Monday 11/15 - What Are You Reading?

It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is hosted by the wonderful Sheila - make sure you check out Sheila's blog to see what she herself is reading, and to find links to other blogs! Onto the books!

Like I said yesterday, and a couple of other times last week, I have been extremely busy. But, I still managed to read a book. Of course. I'm just that good at multitasking I guess.

Anyway, last week I read Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, and I really enjoyed it. I have yet to review it, but I'm working on it at the moment so expect a review in the next couple of days!

I reviewed Paranormalcy by Kiersten White (first link goes to my review, second link goes to Amazon!) and found that I am now thoroughly addicted to blogging after just a month of doing so. I missed reviewing and posting so much last week, so this week maybe I'll be posting double to make up for it. I don't know.

Anyway, I am currently reading Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I've seen great reviews on it, but it's taking me a while to get into. Maybe that's because I've had to read a few pages here and there. I don't know. But I'll definitely be letting you all know what I think of it!

In other news, I am currently being followed by 40 people! that's amazing! 40 people are actually interested in what I have to say... just, wow. Thank you, each and every one of you!

That's all for this week. Let me know what's happening with your reading!

Monday 10/18 - What Are You Reading?

My second It's Monday, What Are You Reading? post. Like last week, my pace is a bit slow compared to some. I blame school. Agh. I have so much cousrework it's unbelievable, but I still manage to squeeze in some reading. Do I really need to explain myself? Onto the books!

Last week I read and reviewed (click link for review!):
The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick (Which I absolutely loved!)

I started reading and plan to finish soon:
Wildthorn by Jane Eagland
The Great Gatsby by Scott Fitzgerald

I'm STILL reading:
Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton

I bought:
The Maze Runner by James Dashner (hahahaha, I've just realised - 'Runner'... 'Dashner'. *facepalm* I'm tired, okay?)
The Dead Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan

I'm crazy, I'm sure of it. I keep buying all these books, and then not finishing the ones I've bought before buying another batch. It's an addiction. I've tried fighting it but what can you do? My brother suggested going to a hypnotist. Haha. If only it was that easy.

I'm not planning to read anything else this week, because I have enough to read as it is! I really need to finish TGG before half term. I don't think it's going to happen though, as I'm going a bit slowly. I would blame the coursework, but I actually... no. I refuse to blame the YA books. Nope.

I hope you all have a great week!

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
Hunger by Jackie Morse Kessler

I started reading, and plan to finish reading this week:
Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton
