 I MUST find out what is going on with Will. His big mystery has been hassling me ever since I finished reading Clockwork Angel. Gah. Any ideas, anyone?

Supernaturally by Kiersten White (Jul 26, 2011)

I loved Paranormalcy, and I expect this one to be just as good! Kiersten White's dialogue is hilarious, I don't know how she does it.

Two Truths and a Lie by Sara Shepard (Feb 7, 2011)

 Another book packed with mysteries that I must solve. I need to know what's happening! Who killed Sutton?

If I Die by Rachel Vincent (Sep 27, 2011)

 Predictable, aren't I? I've been waiting for this for months and it's almost here! 

The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead (Jun 19, 2012)

After the ending of Bloodlines, how could I not be dying to read this? I'd kill something to get my hands on a copy of this before June. Okay, maybe not, but I am desperate nonetheless!

Spell Bound by Rachel Hawkins (Mar 13, 2012)

 If you've read the explosive novel that is Demonglass, you'll know why. I miss Archer!

Chain Reaction by Simone Elkeles (Aug 16, 2011)

 I loved Perfect Chemistry, and really enjoyed Rules of Attraction, so I can't wait to read about the third and youngest Fuentes brother. I'm also looking forward to Alex's wedding! 

Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick (Oct 4, 2011)

 I'm actually kind of sad that this book series is over. I can't wait to see what becomes of Patch. Bless his cotton socks.

The Scorch Trials by James Dashner (Oct 12, 2010)

 I know, this came out in the US almost a year ago, what's taken me so long? My excuse is that I was waiting for the paperback to match my copy of The Maze Runner, and now I'm on a book buying ban! Damn.

I haven’t read The Kite Runner novel, so I don’t know how this graphic novel fares in comparison. I do have the novel on my bookshelf waiting to be read, and I can honestly say that after reading this fantastic graphic novel that I will be picking up the book by Khaled Hosseini.

I’ll start by saying that there wasn’t anything that I disliked about this graphic novel. I thought that the drawings were stunning, and they really pulled me into the story and made the characters come to life. I focused on each and every panel, and paid such attention to the little details that were in the story.

I was blown away by the powerful story, and I was left shocked at some parts. The story is truly heartbreaking, and yet full of hope. The graphic novel gives a good idea of how life in Afghanistan had changed over twenty years – something we don’t learn about at school here in the UK. After reading this, I am interested in finding out more about the Palestinian people and the problems that were/are happening in Afghanistan. I definitely think that a book like this would be a great read for a teenager who wanted to discover more about the subject.

The Kite Runner has also been made into a movie, so I’ll definitely be checking that out after reading the novel. I want to thank Bloomsbury for sending me this wonderful book, as it’s really opened my eyes and encouraged me to want to learn more about the issues at hand.

I love this series so, so much! If you’re a regular reader of my blog then you should know this by now. I’ve read all of the books already, by for some reason I have yet to review the latest three. This is about to change.

So we left off with My Soul to Save (Book #2), with Tod’s ex girlfriend staying in the Netherworld despite the trio’s attempts to save her and her sister from the bad guys. Somehow, the lethal substance Demon’s Breath has made its way into the human realm, and Kaylee, Nash and Tod must try to find the dealer and stop them from giving the stuff to humans, who would probably die if they became too addicted.

Kaylee was so strong in this book, she’s really coming a long way. She journeys back and forth to the Netherworld – accidentally, of course, no one would go there alone on purpose – and she also has to put up with her boyfriend acting like a prat. All the while, she has to try to solve the mystery of who is dealing the Demon’s Breath before her classmates get hurt. I love Kaylee, she’s a great female protagonist – one that doesn’t annoy me! – and she’s a tough lady.

There’s also a mysterious new character that is introduced. I won’t say too much about them, but they added a whole new dynamic to the book, and I loved it.

I don’t really need to point out how much I love Tod, but I’m going to do so anyway. He’s bloody amazing! He’s so caring, and yet he has this bad boy/sarcastic image to uphold. He and Kaylee should hurry up and get together. Tod is also kind of a hero in my eyes, because he punches Nash at some point. LOVE!

Needless to say, I hate Nash. I hated him before this book, and since reading this one I have hated him even more. I think most of you guys will too. He is vile. Really. The way he treats Kaylee is just awful, and he should just go DIAF or something. No one would miss him, and I think Kaylee would get over him pretty easily. She has Tod, after all.

Definitely go out and buy this series, because it’s blimmin’ awesome. If you didn’t already know, it’s one of my all time favourites, and if you’re a new follower then you’ll soon get used to me pushing these books at you. I’m a pusher, yes.

Q. If you could change the ending to any book or series, which would you choose? Why and to what?

Twilight. I'd have stopped at the first book, because honestly, it wasn't that bad. After that all the series really consisted of was a suicidal idiot who ends up having her one hundred year old husband tearing into her womb. Oh, and there's some pedophilia going on in there too. *headdesk*

Q. What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation? 

My birthday, as well as a whole load of books that are coming out soon! Books such as If I Die by Rachel Vincent, Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins and Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick. Unfortunately, I'm not going on vacation/holiday because I now have a job, and I have to save for my Australia backpacking trip next year!

September Wishlist and August RAK Gifts

Random Acts of Kindness (or RAK) is a fantastic idea by Book Soulmates. The idea is to send a fellow book blogger a free gift, as a random act of kindess.
