Hello dear followers! (All 200 of you! *gasp*) I've been thinking for a while now that I take part in a bit too many memes. I mean, memes are great fun, and an excellent way of discovering new books as well as new bloggers, but I think that there is a limit to how many memes you should feature each week. Therefore, I've decided to cut down a little bit, and instead of participating in the What Are You Reading? meme that you can find on Sheila's wonderful blog - which is an excellent meme, by the way! - I shall be just doing my own weekly round-up.
Read:
<< Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins. Which is excellent, just fyi!
>> Hungry For You by Lynsay Sands (Argeneau #14) This book is an adult novel, but it's still great. I love the whole series!
Reviewed (click for review):
My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent - 4/5
Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles - 10/10
Bought:
I bought quite a few books last week, all of which can be seen in my IMM post.
Currently Reading or Planning on Reading:
<< The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting. I'm about 100 or so pages in, and I'm loving it!
>> The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. I want to get this read this week, as I've been wanting to read it for months now. I am determined!
I cut down on memes, too...I simple did FAR too many as well! You have some great books coming up, Amber! Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa :) It's a shame, because I love doing them each week, but I think I got a bit too carried away!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many awesome memes out there that it's hard not to get carried away! I've limited myself to two: IMM and Book Blog Hop (I don't think that's exactly what it's called, but close enough), and I haven't even been participating in the blogger hop consistently, though I should, since I really like the questions we get asked each week.
ReplyDeleteEnough rambling. I also loved Hex Hall and can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I love the Book Blogger Hop Kelly! The questions are always so much fun to answer. I hope I can find something to post instead of memes now.. I'm sure I'll find something to talk about!
ReplyDeleteHex Hall was brilliant, I can't wait for Demonglass to come out! Not long left now! *cheers*
